The Hydrajaws Verify Tag is a reusable NFC fixing tag that stays with a fixing for its entire lifetime, removing the need to order, distribute and apply replacement tags at every retest. For companies managing fixings across multiple sites, that recurring cost is a meaningful one to remove.
Once a fixing has been pull tested or torque tested, the tag is attached and the test data is written straight to it using NFC. There is no paper trail, no handwritten records and nothing separate to manage. When the fixing is due for retesting, the new data is written over the existing record, so a single tag covers the full life of the fixing rather than being replaced each time.
Through the Verify app, engineers can create and access templated data built to manufacturer and UK standards, keeping each record accurate, consistent and compliant. Because the data is digital, there is no manual writing and none of the faded or illegible tags that tend to be left behind on roofs and in gutters.
The Verify Tag fits into the wider Hydrajaws Verify ecosystem, applying the same digital reporting used elsewhere to the fixing itself.
